A video of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte at a hotel event has been altered to show them in a boxing stance.
Facebook user Aki Franco posted the altered video on Nov. 30 with the caption:

Unaltered images include a photo taken by Jonathan Cellona of ABS-CBN News las Jan. 25 when Duterte, then education secretary, presented the Department of Education's agenda during the Basic Education Report 2024 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Pasay City. The president attended the event.
The event was livestreamed in the DepEd’s official YouTube channel.
Duterte, who under ran with Marcos, under the “UniTeam” alliance together in 2022, announced her resignation as DepEd secretary on June 19.
She recently unveiled a threat ordering to kill Marcos, his wife Liza Araneta Marcos and cousin Speaker Martin Romualdez. Marcos, in turn, vowed to “fight back” against this threat.
The National Bureau of Investigation is probing the threat and has issued her a subpoena.
Three impeachment motions have been filed against Duterte in the House of Representatives in connection with the alleged misuse of confidentia funds by the Office of the Vice President.
Franco’s Facebook video has garnered over 4.2 million views with 61,000 reactions, 4,100 comments and 8,000 shares. The account, created on Oct. 30, 2023 with 2,700 followers, has not posted any video connected to either Marcos or Duterte prior to the altered video.
TikTok account @thekingofwarr reposted the altered video on the same day which reached 18,100 views, 90 likes, 19 comments and 126 shares. Several Youtube accounts like @taguigcharityvlogger7402 also reposted the video. (CA)
