A Youtube video falsely claims housemaids saw actress Claudine Barretto’s dead body after robbers broke into her home.
Youtube channel Trending News published the Sept. 12 video titled:
Aktres na si Claudine Barretto patay, matapos pasukin ng mga magnanakaw ang bahay (Actress Claudine Barretto found dead after robbers invaded her home)
Using InVID’s keyframe analyzer and Google’s reverse image search, the clip used in the video was traced to Kilos Pronto’s March 8, 2017 episode published under the Youtube channel Bitag Official.
The original clip talks about a different woman killed in a condominium in Manila. Barretto was never mentioned once throughout the seven-minute video.
Barretto is still alive and was recently involved in a controversial family feud at her father’s wake. (BM)
